Kodiak has had an amazing summer that is continuing into fall. Today my cousin and I hiked Sheratin Mountain. We didn't go all the way to the summit, but we did get up into the alpine.
I love this hike because it has a long meandering approach with a nice mix of spruce forest and shrubs. Like all hikes in Kodiak, there was hardly anybody else on it.
